After three weeks of freezing weather during which I've only managed a few medium length training rides (60 miles maximium) with cross-training/weight-training sessions at the gym to keep me in some sort of shape, yesterday saw my first true long distance endurance ride with my local cycling club - Abbotsford Park R.C. (www.abbots.org) through very muddy Cheshire lanes. All-in-all from South Manchester out to beyond Beeston Castle with a stop for lunch at the Ice Cream Farm, Huxley I managed almost exactly 95 miles.
There are several Herbalife products specifically formulated to enhance sports performance. At present I'm using Formula 3 for post exercise recovery. I'm now starting to use H3OPro for to aid performance during training - such as yesterday's effort(!) or in sports events.
Other Herbalife products that can be used by sports men/women and athletes are:-  Formula 1 which can be used either for weight control or for extra pre-event nutrition when time is limited or when a low calorie nutritional supplement is desired.
Protein Bars and Roasted Soybeans - these are useful during training or events to prevent hunger 'knock' or for those wanting to guard against weight gain but still reward themselves with a snack.
Lift-Off is another aid to boosting energy during training, containing a blend of L-taurine, guarana, caffeine, Panax ginseng and Ginkgo biloba clinically proven to enhance mental performance and boost energy.
